Many property managers use the forms you can download here. Some use a different set of forms or their own custom form. If we need different forms for the property you're interested in applying for, we will contact you.
Normally, application fees are due at the time the application is submitted. This must be in "good funds" (meaning cashier's check, money order or the like - sorry, no personal checks).
Property managers usually use a rating system to determine if you will be acceptable.
Some of the factors they consider are:
You can imagine that being convicted of a crime on your current property or having a judgment against you for back rent will disqualify you in most places. A few places will consider extra security deposit to cover the additional risk. As always, the decision is in the hands of the property owner, but it is better to be upfront about any issues that may disqualify you, rather than wasting the time and money to apply and found out later.
